The Delta Companies are looking for CNC Milling Machinist to join our team.

2nd Shift M-F 4pm-12:30sm (8-10 hour days)

$22-$32/hr + OT (based on experience)

Delta Research is an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility which manufactures Automotive & Truck Differentials, Gear Products, Prototype/Development and Production, Transmission Builds. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non-destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch.

Summary/Objectives:
The CNC Mill Operator performs set-up and operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. The CNC machinist loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Tasks:
• Experience in Programming, setup and running of CNC 3, 4 & 5-Axis Mills
• In depth knowledge of GD & T,
• Experience using DP Technologies - Espirit CNC Mill Programming Software
• Tooling, cutter technology and part fixturing.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results.
• Other duties as assigned.
• In-process inspection

Qualifications:
• 2 – 15 years of experience with GD&T.
• 2 – 15 years of experience in Set-up of CNC machine.
• 2 – 15 years of experience using DP Technologies – Espirit CNC Mill Software.
• 2 – 15 years of experience with Horizontal Boring Mill & 5 Axis Milling
• Ability to indicate diameters and faces on setup pieces and low-volume production
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Physical Demands:
